Assistant Director of Nursing, RN

WindsorMeade, located in Williamsburg, is a state of the art continuing care retirement community with 181 independent living units, 14 bed household, and 12 skilled care household served by a self-directed team with versatile roles. Windsormeade is dedicated to enhancing the lives of the community members by promoting health and well-being with a low staff/resident ratio. WindsorMeade is currently recruiting for a full time Assistant Director of Nursing/ Clinical Leader to assist in coordinating the activities of licensed personnel who provide nursing services to residents in the Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Household. The Clinical Leader works under the supervisor of the Director of Nursing. Responsibilities include planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, mentoring, educating , MDS completion and submission per CMS guidelines, supervision of programs and team members working in the household. In addition, the Clinical Leader must be able to function as a team member through good communication and cooperation to meet goals and ensure team members adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Housekeeper 16 hours per week

Housekeeping Supervisor

Assist with supervising the work activities of housekeeping, custodial, and laundry personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms and common areas. 3 years housekeeping and supervisory experience preferred. Bi-lingual a plus.

RN Charge Nurse (FT) (PT) (PRN)

The Charge Nurse is responsible for the well being and nursing care of all residents assigned to him or her during the shift. Reporting to the Supervisor, he or she carries out physician’s orders, assesses residents and notes any changes in condition, distributes and charts medications, distributes narcotics and manages the narcotic inventory, supervises the staff of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and responds immediately to emergencies. He or she acts as a role model and effective team member and is personally committed to enhance the lives of each resident by providing the highest quality of life possible.


The ideal candidate for this position has a Master's of Divinity from an accredited seminary or school of theology, a Chaplaincy certification, and two years of pastoral care experience, preferably with a senior adult population. Chaplain must be able to serve communion. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills, computer skills and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.


The Driver safely transports residents to and from designated locations based on established routes, activities calendars, or the appointment schedule generated by a Facilities Service Representative. Typical transportation assignments include: shuttle service, planned activities, medical appointments, and private transportation. He or she is responsible for the general maintenance and cleanliness of the fleet vehicles, reporting any defects or items of concern to the appropriate supervisor. Most importantly and without exception, the Driver operates within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times.

LPN Charge Nurse (FT) (PT) (PRN)

The charge nurse is responsible for promoting and maintaining continuity of care for the Residents. Responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating, all care during assigned tour of duty. Supervising, interpreting performance, counseling and directing CNA’s. Acts as a role model and is an effective team member for stimulating growth and harmony between co-workers and peers. Personally committed to enhance the lives of each Resident by providing the highest quality of life possible.

Restaurant Server

An essential personnel position primarily responsible for setting up, serving, breaking down and restocking of work areas to include all tables, dishes, silver, and utensils, etc. used in production and service.

Line Chef

An essential personnel position working with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef responsible for leading kitchen staff to success while ensuring culinary excellence, regulatory compliance and fiscal responsibility at this high volume a la carte, healthcare and banquet operation.

Line Cook

The Line Cook prepares meals following planned menus that meet the dietary requirements for all residents and ensures the cleanliness, safety, organization, and maintenance of the kitchen so that it is in full compliance with the standards and regulations of the Department of Health, state and federal licensing/regulations/mandates, and OSHA. Reporting to the Chef, he or she helps order food and supplies, and ensure proper, safe storage of food/supplies.

Certified Nursing Assistant

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) helps the professional nursing staff provide nursing care to residents in the areas of daily hygiene, toileting, feeding, moving safely to activities or functions, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the resident’s room. Reporting to the Charge Nurse, he or she provides encouragement and assistance to motivate residents to achieve their maximum level of independence.

Dining Room Manager

The Dining Room Manager ensures that the dining facilities operate smoothly and in a high state of cleanliness and provides strong leadership and supervision to the dining staff. He or she manages and trains the staff to ensure they provide exceptional service in a timely, courteous, efficient, and accurate manner and that they follow proper sanitation standards and keep all areas clean and sanitary at all times.
