Marilyn Gladding
Executive Director
Marilyn has over thirty years experience in the retirement industry. She is a Licensed Long Term Care Administrator and a Licensed Registered Nurse. Most recently, she was employed as the CEO/President of Harbor’s Edge Retirement Community in Norfolk, VA during the last three years. She was also employed for eighteen years at The Chesapeake Retirement Community in Newport News, Virginia, serving as the Executive Director during her tenure there. Marilyn has a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Mountain State University. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Association of Non-Profit Homes for the Aging (VANHA) and a Virginia representative to the AAHSA (American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging) House of Delegates. Marilyn enjoys spending time with her daughter Megan who is presently in her sophomore year at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
Robin Page
Assistant Executive Director
A Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), Robin has vast experience working at continuing care retirement communities throughout Virginia. She had previously worked at Cedarfield in Richmond from 1996-2003 as the Director of Wellness and Leisure. For the past 15 years, Robin has worked in aging services, using her education of a BS Degree from Radford University with a minor in Gerontology and her graduate degree, an MBA from Averett University. Additionally, in 2005, she received her Retirement Housing Professional certification from the University of North Texas. Robin is the Chair of VANHA Resident Services Network Group and a member of the VANHA Education Committee.
Kevin Early
Director of Dining & Catering
Kevin Early has extensive knowledge of the Culinary Arts. After studying at the Culinary Institute of America, Kevin worked in Zurich, Switzerland at Swissôtel International’s restaurant, the Panorama Grille. Back in the states he has enjoyed working in several fine establishments, including Amelia Island Plantation in Florida and the historic Martin’s Tavern in Georgetown. Having served many notable political figures while in D.C., Kevin was twice featured on the Washington, D.C. metro television program: The Lindsey Gustin Show: “Recipes from the Chef’s Kitchen” and was the recipient of the “Stellar Cellar” Silver wine award featured in Hampton Roads Magazine. Kevin has been an active board member of the Williamsburg Area Restaurant Association and the Chambers’ Taste of Williamsburg. He currently resides in Williamsburg with his wife and two daughters.
Kate Leach
Director of Marketing
Kate is marketing, sales and business development professional who has consulted on numerous real estate projects over the course of eight years. She is also well-versed in the healthcare industry with nearly 15 years of experience marketing health and disease management programs at Centene Corporation, Healthways, Inc., and other prestigious organizations. Kate has a passion for improving the health, well-being and quality of life for seniors.
Kate is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and a dedicated Cornhusker Football fan. She resides in Williamsburg with her husband and two children and enjoys boating and baseball as well as gourmet cooking and keeping up with politics and current events.
Karen “Kateri” Turner
Business Manager
Kateri Turner is responsible for accounts payable, receivables and human resources. She most recently served as Assistant Controller for a small resort outside Washington, D.C. and assisting local CPAs during tax season. Prior to this, Kateri worked for several years in Financial Planning & Investments for Shearson Lehman Hutton in New York City. A move to Louisiana saw Kateri managing retirement accounts for a local bank before moving to the Federal Reserve Branch of New Orleans. Kateri received a Bachelors in Business Finance at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York, and a MBA from Georgia Southern University. Kateri resides in Williamsburg with husband and two sons.
Melanie Tyler
Business Office Director
A Certified Public Accountant, Melanie brings more than 20 years of accounting and financial experience to WindsorMeade. As the Vice President of Finance at Operation Smile, she gained an extensive knowledge of non-profit financial reporting, compliance and budgeting. She has worked in public accounting preparing business and individual tax returns along with attestation and retirement plan administration services. Melanie also previously audited tax returns for the Internal Revenue Service. An active member and volunteer for the Virginia Society of CPA’s, she was featured as a Financial Fitness Trainer on the society’s 2006 Financial Fitness Calendar. Melanie received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from North Carolina State University and lives in Hampton with her husband and two children.
