COVID-19 + Visitation Policy Update

The WindsorMeade Management Team continues to monitor the COVID-19 infection rates in the surrounding community and based on changes in our community, may alter visitation policies to protect the health and safety of our residents and team members.

We appreciate the support we have received from resident’s, family members, team members and guests over the past several weeks. Because of the change in local positivity levels and the new guidelines recommended by the Virginia Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention we feel comfortable making the following changes:

• Masks are no longer necessary for residents, team members or guests. If you are visiting, residing, or working in an area with a case of COVID, mask usage will be initiated for your protection.
• As a reminder, because of the close nature of interactions in our neighborhoods, if a resident tests positive and if we are fearful of spread, we may not permit residents residing in that neighborhood to attend meals or activities away from their neighborhoods.
• If a resident tests positive, they will be asked to stay in their apartment for a period of time to keep others safe.

The COVID team will continue to meet regularly and will review the latest recommendations provided by the Virginia Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and will make adjustments as necessary.  

We continue to test team members and residents who present symptoms of the virus. Both symptomatic and asymptomatic team members and residents are isolating as recommended by the CDC.
