Weekend Office Assistant

The Office Assistant Performs a variety of technical and professional duties in support of day to day business operation. Provides comprehensive administrative support services for the Health Services Area. Possesses excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Preferably has an Associate Degree or equivalent business related coursework and experience including two years’ experience performing administrative duties in an office setting. Schedule 8:00am-8:00pm every other Saturday & Sunday.

Clinical Manager

WindsorMeade, a state of the art Continuing Care Retirement Community located in Williamsburg, is currently looking for an Executive Nurse Professional to join our elite team working in a unique resident-centered environment. One step onto our campus and you’ll understand what we’re talking about. Applicant Requirements: Current Virginia RN licenses, Executive Nursing Management experience including Medicare, MDS, and EMR. The Clinical Manager has overall accountability for the smooth functioning of the nursing units on a day-to-day basis for a 22 resident household.. This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating delivery of health care services to residents and providing leadership and supervision to the nursing staff. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Clinical Manager ensures that best practices in nursing care are followed and that those practices meet the standards and mandates of long term care required by healthcare regulations.

Nursing RN’s

RN – Registered Nurse (FT/PRN) or LPN (PRN)

The Registered Nurse (Household Nurse)delivers, coordinates, evaluates and is accountable for the total nursing services for household residents during assigned shifts. The Household Nurse performs nursing functions that require medication administration, observing residents’ condition and communicating them to the clinical supervisor or physician, and treatments; and also takes part in Household activities with and for residents. Work is performed according to the community’s policies and procedures within the scope of practice of the Virginia Board of Nursing guidelines and in a safe and efficient manner. The job available is for Full Time & PRN.

Household Nurse RN (Full Time 12 hrs shift 7A-7P)

The Charge Nurse is responsible for the well being and nursing care of all residents assigned to him or her during the shift. Reporting to the Supervisor, he or she carries out physician’s orders, assesses residents and notes any changes in condition, distributes and charts medications, distributes narcotics and manages the narcotic inventory, supervises the staff of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and responds immediately to emergencies. He or she acts as a role model and effective team member and is personally committed to enhance the lives of each resident by providing the highest quality of life possible.

The ideal candidate has graduated from an approved nursing program, holds a current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN), has some experience in long-term care, and has some management or supervisory experience. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.

Certified Nursing Assistant

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) helps the professional nursing staff provide nursing care to residents in the areas of daily hygiene, toileting, feeding, moving safely to activities or functions, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the resident’s room. Reporting to the Charge Nurse, he or she provides encouragement and assistance to motivate residents to achieve their maximum level of independence.

Line Cook

The Line Cook prepares meals following planned menus that meet the dietary requirements for all residents and ensures the cleanliness, safety, organization, and maintenance of the kitchen so that it is in full compliance with the standards and regulations of the Department of Health, state and federal licensing/regulations/mandates, and OSHA. Reporting to the Chef, he or she helps order food and supplies, and ensure proper, safe storage of food/supplies.
