RN – Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse (Household Nurse)delivers, coordinates, evaluates and is accountable for the total nursing services for household residents during assigned shifts. The Household Nurse performs nursing functions that require medication administration, observing residents’ condition and communicating them to the clinical supervisor or physician, and treatments; and also takes part in Household activities with and for residents. Work is performed according to the community’s policies and procedures within the scope of practice of the Virginia Board of Nursing guidelines and in a safe and efficient manner.

Nursing LPN’s

LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for promoting and maintaining continuity of care for the Residents. Responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating, all care during assigned tour of duty. Supervising, interpreting performance, counseling and directing CNA’s. Acts as a role model and is an effective team member for stimulating growth and harmony between co-workers and peers. Personally committed to enhance the lives of each Resident by providing the highest quality of life possible. The ideal candidate will be an Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Virginia.

Certified Nursing Assistant

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) helps the professional nursing staff provide nursing care to residents in the areas of daily hygiene, toileting, feeding, moving safely to activities or functions, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the resident’s room. Reporting to the Charge Nurse, he or she provides encouragement and assistance to motivate residents to achieve their maximum level of independence.

Medical Office Assistant

The Medical Office Assistant Performs a variety of technical and professional duties in support of day to day business operation. Provides comprehensive administrative support services for the WindsorMeade Clinic. Responsible for monitoring life safety systems for entire campus and respond to Independent Living residents by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Schedules appointments with the clinic MD and podiatrist. Prepares lab slips and prepares charts as needed. Possesses excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Preferably has a Medical Assistant certificate or equivalent related coursework and experience including two years’ experience performing administrative duties in an office setting.

Line Cook

The Line Cook prepares meals following planned menus that meet the dietary requirements for all residents and ensures the cleanliness, safety, organization, and maintenance of the kitchen so that it is in full compliance with the standards and regulations of the Department of Health, state and federal licensing/regulations/mandates, and OSHA. Reporting to the Chef, he or she helps order food and supplies, and ensure proper, safe storage of food/supplies.
