Construction Update – April 17, 2017

The remainder of the shingles on Manchester House and Hadley House is dependent upon the installation of the facia and drip ledge. The carpenters are working on those two construction projects over the next two weeks, then then the roofer will return to finish roofing.
Hadley House’s Gathering Room will remain open a few more weeks.
The main entrance into Health Services area is expected to reopen around May 1. There will be limited parking intermittently in the Health Services visitor lot during the next few weeks.
The Unit Secretaries will be moving from Hadley House Nursing Desk to the new Reception Area sometime this summer. All of our emergency systems will move to that area on the same date.
The Health Services Beauty Salon has closed for renovations and is scheduled to re-open in early June. Beauty services will continue to be available in the Beauty Salon on the first floor, where hours have been extended.
The work in the Health Services Activity Room is progressing. Activities currently are being held in other locations. Please refer to the April Activities Calendars for specific information about alternative locations.
Please use Abingdon House’s laundry room while Hadley House laundry room is unavailable.
Team Member Updates
The Training Curriculum Action team will present another “dry run” focusing on the Communication training modules on April 20 and 28.
Monthly Expansion Update Meetings
The next monthly expansion meeting is scheduled for May 8 at 9:30 a.m. in the Kensington Room.
