There will be periods of increased noise coming from the Hadley House pantry June 26 – 30 because demolition will be occurring to make way for a new pantry.
Additionally, there will be a considerable amount of noise around the Physical Therapy between area June 26 – 29, and increased noise levels at the elevators on June 27.
Hadley House’s Gathering Room will close for renovation July 3; renovations will begin July 5.
The employee’s entrance near Physical Therapy will be closed on June 27 so the new sprinkler system can be tied into the existing system. This upgrade will require a sprinkler system outage in Health Services that day as well.
Kitchen cabinets currently are being installed in Manchester House’s country kitchen.
The Activities Room and the newly-renovated Health Services Beauty Salon now is scheduled to re-open on August 1. Until then, beauty services will continue to be available in the Beauty Salon on the first floor, where hours have been extended.
Please use the Abingdon House laundry room while Hadley House laundry room is unavailable.
Most members of the Abingdon and Manchester Household teams completed mandatory training this week to prepare for the Households openings. The final training is scheduled for tomorrow, June 24.
All Household team members will need to complete CPR and First Aid training prior to the opening of our households. Please review the monthly Team Member newsletter for upcoming class days and times.
ServSafe classes are scheduled for June 26 and 27.
The next monthly expansion meeting is scheduled for July 10 at 9:30 am in the Kensington Room.
