The main entrance into Health Services area has been temporarily closed and will remain closed until the week of April 17. Visitors to Hadley House, arriving from the visitors’ parking lot, should enter through the temporary entrance just to the left of the closed main entrance. Those who need wheelchair access, should use the Team Member parking lot and enter through Abingdon House’s Living Room door.
There will be limited parking intermittently in the Health Services visitor lot during the next few weeks.
Shingles currently are being installed on Manchester House; roofing work is now 75% complete on Hadley House.
Hadley House’s Gathering Room willremain open a few more weeks because of schedule delays.
The Unit Secretaries will be moving from Hadley House Nursing Desk to the new Reception Area the in late April or early May. All of our emergency systems will move to this space on the same date.
The Health Services Beauty Salon has closed for renovations and will re-open around May 1. Beauty services will continue to be available in the Beauty Salon on the first floor, where hours have been extended.
The Health Services Activity Room is now closed; activities are being held in other locations. Please refer to the March and April Activities Calendars for specific information about alternative locations.
Please use Abingdon House’s laundry room while Hadley House laundry room is unavailable.
Many of our Abingdon and Manchester House Team Members are scheduled to participate in ServSafe classes on April 17 and 18. Remaining Team Members will be scheduled for this training in May and June.
The Training Curriculum Action team presented a “dry run” of the Sensitivity and Team Building training modules on March 21 to a group of WindsorMeade team members. Thanks to Levi Kennedy, Natalie Chamberlain, Kevin Early and Robin Abbott for the presentation.
The Training Curriculum Action team will present another “dry run” focusing on the Communication training modules on April 20. Team Member scheduling is currently underway for that training.
The next monthly expansion meeting is scheduled for April 10 at 9:30 a.m. in the Kensington Room.
