Roofing work on Manchester and Hadley Houses is now complete.

There will be a sprinkler system water outage in Health Services on May 10.

A brief cold water outage will occur in Health Services in the next two weeks. The specific dates have not yet been determined, but we will communicate these as soon as the dates are confirmed.

The main entrance into Health Services area is expected to reopen on June 1. There will be limited parking intermittently in the Health Services visitor lot until the main entrance reopens.

The new Reception Area will open around June 1. All of our emergency systems will move to that area on the same date.

Hadley House’s Gathering Room will remain open until early June.

The Health Services Beauty Salon is closed for renovations and is scheduled to re-open in early July. Beauty services will continue to be available in the Beauty Salon on the first floor, where hours have been extended.

The work in the Health Services Activity Room is progressing, and the partition has been removed.There will be a couple of days of increased noise in late May as we near completion of the Activity Room’s renovation.Activities currently are being held in other locations. Please refer to the April and May Activities Calendars for specific information regarding alternative locations.

Please use Abingdon House’s laundry room while Hadley House laundry room is unavailable.

Team Member Updates

The Training Curriculum Action team presented another “dry run” focusing on the Communication training modules on April 28.

The Training Curriculum Action team will be finalizing all household orientation curriculum by June 1. The next step will be for all household team members (both clinical and non-clinical) working in Abingdon and Manchester Houses to complete curriculum by July 1.

Monthly Expansion Update Meetings

The next monthly expansion meeting is scheduled for May 8 at 9:30 a.m. in the Kensington Room.
