Levels of Living
Read what others have to say...
Manchester House is the newest addition to the WindsorMeade community, specifically designed for those dealing with the challenges brought on by Alzheimer’s and related dementias. We are accepting applications and space is limited so contact us today by calling (866) 403-5503 to learn more.
The Manchester House houses 18 residents and offers programs and services tailored for each resident.
Trained professional team members interact with residents, working to enhance their lives while fostering autonomy.
Our compassionate WindsorMeade team members embrace a culture of resident-centered support. This means every aspect of our programs and services is focused completely around your loved one and his or her personal preferences.
We believe this is an essential ingredient to creating the Essence of Home — where the past and present come together to establish a home for today.
At WindsorMeade Williamsburg, we can now offer ALL residents’ access to our Hadley House (Nursing Care). When lifestyle changes and requires additional short-term or long-term support, you will be able to count on compassionate, skilled professionals to provide assistance and support within WindsorMeade’s extended health services in our Hadley House. Residents entering WindsorMeade through our Manchester House (Memory Care) or Abingdon Neighborhood (Assisted Living) can now take full advantage of our premiere nursing services thanks to our newly enhanced residency agreement.
The focus is on the residents’ personal interests. Our team members strive to enhance daily pleasures for all Manchester House residents.
Beloved music can re-awaken the mind and help participants be more social and responsive. Certified MUSIC & MEMORY instructors ensure residents have access to the benefits of personalized music which taps deep memories and enables participants to be happier, calmer and stay present.
Residents have access to a comfortable and secure courtyard with a beautifully landscaped garden and walking path.
Opportunities are provided for children to interact with residents on a consistent and structured basis.
Offered in collaboration with leading memory support experts and an on-site social worker, families have access to essential programs and educational opportunities. Manchester House provides up-to-date information about dementia, diagnosis, treatment and available services to at-risk seniors, families and healthcare professionals.
Common area furnishings are chosen for comfort, relaxation and socialization. Residents have the freedom to decorate their private rooms and bathrooms with their own furnishings, to make their surroundings comfortable and familiar. Much like in our own homes, the heart of Manchester House is the kitchen. An area designed specifically as an inviting space for residents to gather and families to socialize and dine.
When the effectiveness of the programming of Manchester House has reached its limits for your loved one’s specific needs, support is offered to family members who need assistance in navigating the options available to them.
With strong confidence in our clinical practices after a recent inspection, the Virginia Department of Social Services issued WindsorMeade an Assisted Living license that’s approved for triple the industry standard!
